Aahroo Kennel is pleased to announce the arrival of our first litter in over 2 years. The 4 boys and 4 girls were born on December 29th, 2025. Sire is S Chevalier du Ralley de Ramondens and dam is AAA Energizer Bunny d’Aahroo. We have contracts on all of the puppies, and no plans have been made for future litters.
We have a waiting list, so if you are interested in a well-socialized, healthy, obedience & housebreaking-started Basset Fauve de Bretagne puppy from conformation titled (Champion or Grand Champion) parents that have been health tested, please fill out our online application.
We also work closely with other reputable, preservation Fauve breeders across the US and occasionally have retired young adults available for adoption. Check out our furry favorites for our happy tails!
How to Adopt from Aahroo Kennel:
Because we only want the best for everyone involved, our adoption process is as follows:
Step One:
Fill out application
Step Two:
Application receipt recognized and application reviewed
Step Three:
Be patient! Application shared with responsible, ethical, preservation breeders who are members of the national club
Step Four:
Applicant notified when moved onto list for possible available puppy from planned litter
Step Five:
Applicant notified when puppy parents are bred
Step Six:
Applicant notified when pregnancy confirmed
Step Seven:
Applicant notified when # of puppies (not sexes) confirmed via ultrasound or X-ray
Step Eight:
Applicant notified when puppies are born ~ Contracts will be sent out and deposits required at this time
Step Nine:
Puppy pictures sent at 1, 4, and 8 weeks old
Step Ten:
Puppies evaluated at 49 days old for temperament and at 8 weeks for conformation--companion (pet) homes will be matched by 8 weeks
Step Eleven:
Applicants come pick up their puppies or arrangements are made for transport with the breeder
